1. Who we are and what this covers
Braylin Selvig ("we," "us," or "our") is an individual developer who runs braylinselvig.com and the Braylin Selvig account system. This policy covers your Braylin Selvig account (your "Account"), braylinselvig.com, and every site that lets you sign in with your Account (each a "Connected Site"). A Connected Site may publish additional privacy details for its own features; where it does, those details add to this policy.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your email address and password. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash; we can't see them.
- Profile: display name, and optionally a username, profile picture, and time zone.
- Agreement records: which version of the Terms and this policy you accepted, and when.
- Site data: what you save, upload, or create on a Connected Site, such as settings, scores, files, or league and team information. Each site's data is kept separate, tied to your Account and that site only.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, for example a support request.
Information collected automatically
- Sign-in and security data: when you sign in, sign up, or change your Account, our authentication provider records the time, your IP address, and your browser's user agent, and keeps session records so you can stay signed in and "Sign out everywhere."
- Connected-site grants: which sites you've approved, when, and what they can access.
- Server logs: our hosting provider logs basic request details (such as IP address, pages requested, and time) to deliver pages, prevent abuse, and debug problems.
We don't use analytics trackers, advertising cookies, or third-party marketing tools on braylinselvig.com. We don't intentionally collect sensitive information such as government IDs, financial account numbers, health data, or precise location.
3. How we use it
- To create and run your Account and sign you in to Connected Sites.
- To provide each Connected Site's features and save your data there.
- To send emails about your Account: confirming your address, resetting your password, and notifying you of security-relevant changes such as a new email or password. We don't send marketing email.
- To keep the Services secure: preventing fraud and abuse, enforcing rate limits, and investigating problems.
- To fix bugs and improve the Services.
- To enforce our Terms and comply with the law.
If you're in a place that requires a legal basis for processing (such as the EU or UK), we rely on: performing our contract with you (running your Account and the sites you use); our legitimate interests in keeping the Services secure and working; and complying with legal obligations.
4. What connected sites see
The first time you sign in to a Connected Site, we show you what it's asking for and you decide whether to allow it. Depending on what you approve, a site can see:
- that it's you (a unique account ID for you);
- your email address; and
- your display name, username, and profile picture.
A Connected Site can read and change only the data it stored for you. It can't see your password, your data on other sites, or which other sites you use, and it can't change your Account. You can disconnect a site at any time from your account page.
Some Connected Sites run their own servers. Those sites receive the information above when you sign in and store their own records about your use of that site. They are operated by us, under this policy.
6. Cookies and browser storage
braylinselvig.com keeps your sign-in session in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. Each Connected Site keeps its own session in its own storage; no site can read another site's. These are strictly necessary for signing in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Clearing your browser's site data signs you out.
7. How long we keep it
- While your Account exists, we keep your Account details, profile, agreement records, and site data so the Services work.
- When you delete your Account at braylinselvig.com/account, we immediately and permanently delete your Account, profile, profile picture, agreement records, and the data and files Connected Sites stored for you with us. Records a Connected Site keeps in its own systems are deleted within 30 days.
- Backups and logs: deleted information can remain in our providers' encrypted backups and logs for a limited period (generally no more than 90 days) before it's overwritten.
- Unconfirmed sign-ups that are never confirmed may be removed.
- We may keep information longer if the law requires it or to resolve a dispute or abuse report.
8. Your choices and rights
Everyone, wherever they live, can do the following:
- See and correct your profile and email on your account page.
- Disconnect any Connected Site.
- Delete your Account and everything we store with it.
- Request a copy of your information, or ask about anything we hold, by emailing support@braylinselvig.com.
Depending on where you live (for example California, other US states with privacy laws, the EU, or the UK), you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We honor these requests for everyone. We'll verify your request by confirming it from the email on your Account, and respond within the time the law requires (usually 30 to 45 days). You can use an authorized agent where your law allows. If you're in the EU or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Nevada residents: we don't sell covered information as defined by Nevada law. You can still send an opt-out request to support@braylinselvig.com.
We don't respond to "Do Not Track" signals because we don't track you across sites.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, short-lived sign-in tokens, and database rules that keep each person's and each site's data separate. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we'll notify you as the law requires. Please use a strong, unique password.
10. Age requirement
The Services are only for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has created an Account, contact us and we'll delete it.
11. Where data is processed
We're based in the United States. Our providers may store and process information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data protection laws than where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as our providers' standard contractual clauses, for these transfers.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we make a material change, we'll update the effective date and version above and ask you to review and accept the update the next time you sign in to braylinselvig.com or a Connected Site.
